Vertical blinds are a style of blind that uses individual slats (also known as louvres) that are attached to a sliding track at the top of the window and have weights and stabilising chains along the bottom. The slats hang vertically and the whole blind is operated by either a wand or a chain and a cord. The control can tilt and turn the slats while the cord opened and closes the entire blind.
